Obituary for David Ball David Jeffrey Ball, age 49, of Kingsport, passed away Thursday (5/10/18) from a short battle with cancer. He was an avid photographer. He is survived by his mother, Lyla Christian Ball and father, Dennis Ball, both of Kingsport; aunt and second mother, Opal Christian Vaughn, of Kingsport; special dog, Rimshot; aunts, Elsie Ball Forbes, of Unicoi County, TN, special aunt, Mollie Ball, of Kingsport; special cousins, Tina Ball Hill, Donna Ball Cavin, Randy, Tim and Terry Sage, Melissa Sage Zhao, Chris and Chad Christian; and several other family members and friends.
A special thanks to the staff and doctors of Wellmont Holston Valley, Kingsport Oncology and Hematology, Hospice and Wexford House for their exceptional care. The family will receive friends Monday (5/14/18) from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 pm at Oak Hill Cemetery in Kingsport.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude’s. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www. christiansells.com.
