Obituary for Joyce Ann Carpenter Joyce Ann Carpenter, age 62, of Rogersville, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018, at Holston Valley Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. She was a daughter of the late John and Una Stapleton Pearson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Smith; and brother, Daryl Pearson.

She enjoyed crafts, flowers, decorating, and flea markets. Survivors include her soul mate, Jerry McPeak; loving daughters, Georgie Bowman and husband Doug, Kasey Salyer, and Rebecca Bishop; sister, Greta Williams; and brothers, Carson and Johnny Pearson. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville.

The funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Stan Bradley officiating. The graveside service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm in Dean Cemetery.
