Obituary for Billy Randolph Fields, Sr. Billy R. Fields, Sr, age 70, of Rogersville, passed away Thursday (6/21/18) at CLC at the VA in Johnson City. He was retired from the US Army with 28 years of service. He retired from Rockwell Automation with 32 years of service.

He was past leader and assistant leader of the Boy Scout Venturing Troop, former boy’s basketball assistant coach with the city league. He loved fishing and camping. He was preceded in death by a special son, Matthew Lawson; mom and dad, Janie Good Fields and Eldridge Fields; grandparents, Lydie Stewart, Marcella and Thomas Asbury Fields; uncles, Tommy and Gale Good; brother, John Good; and sister, Pam Wilder.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Dianne Fields; children, Starr Manis (Eddie), T.J. Fields (Audra), Michael Larkins (Susan), Lyndon Fields, William Fields (Holly), Andy Fields, Billy R.(BJ) Fields, Jr. (Mary Jane); special son, Jeff Lawson (Glynndale); siblings, Holly Byington (Jamie), Chrissie Wilder, and Scott Fields; sister-in-law, Moon Good; brother-in-law, Danny Wilder; aunt, Shirley Good; special brother, Scott Gilbert; special aunts and uncle, Jean Good, Jim and Nancy Gilbert. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm Saturday (6/23/18) at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. Military and memorial services will follow at 6:00 pm with Rev.
