Obituary for Jimmie Frances McKee Jimmie McKee, age 83, of Surgoinsville, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving family, following a brief illness. She was saved at the age of 12 and was a member of Surgoinsville Baptist Church. Jimmie graduated from Surgoinsville High School, then attended ETSU, where she met her husband of 47 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) McKee; parents, James R. and Kittie F. (Caldwell) Reynolds; sister, Mary Reynolds Cook; and son-in-law, Johnny Thurman. Jimmie is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Mitchell and Teresa McKee, Surgoinsville, and Steve and Evie McKee, Graham, North Carolina; daughter, Linda McKee Thurman, Surgoinsville; grandchildren, Justin, Makala, Jennifer and husband David, Christopher and wife Katie, Kaitlyn and husband Campbell; great-grandchildren, Malakai, Sam, Callum and Ben; sister, Joyce Reynolds Koostra; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, from 5:00 pm till 6:00 pm at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville.

The funeral ceremony will follow at 6:00 pm with Pastor Bryan Thurman officiating. The graveside service will follow at Hawkins County Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be sent at www.
