Obituary for Ruby Joyce Lawson Ruby Joyce Lawson, age 76, of Rogersville, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018, at her home. She was a daughter of the late Orbin and Mary Belle Arnold Klepper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters; 3 brothers; and a great grandson, Jaxson Parrott.

Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, Ernest Lawson; her children, William E. Lawson, Jr., Michael S. Lawson and wife Angie, Loretta J. Phillips and husband Michael, and Freddie R. Lawson and wife Donna; 10 grandchildren, to include a special granddaughters, Gerena Reed and Katie Lawson; 8 great grandchildren, to include a special great granddaughter, Reagan Parrott; sisters, Shelby J. Wilder and Willie R. Presley. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her nurse Callie, social worker Carol, and staff of Amedisys Hospice of Morristown. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 28, 2018, from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Magnolia Baptist Church.

The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gordon Presley and Rev. Neil Drinnon officiating.

The graveside service will follow in Magnolia Baptist Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent at www. christiansells.com.
