Obituary for Samuel Parker Samuel “Sam” Neal Parker, 81, of Bulls Gap, entered into eternal rest July 12, 2018, at Hawkins County Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Inda Parker; nephew, Tony Parker; niece, Poppy Long; and his furry friend, Lola. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Tim; grandchildren, Ryan, Kirah, Coby and Kelsey; three great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Aileen Parker; sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Thomas Long; a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jim, Roger, A.K. and John.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Speedwell Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tecky Hicks officiating.
