Obituary for Vance Calvert Poling Vance C. Poling, age 60, of Bulls Gap, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. He attended Hope at the Gap. He was a son of the late Ronald and Gertrude Sigley Poling.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bueford Poling. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and Pappy. He loved the Lord and enjoyed going to church.

He was loved by all that he came in contact with and will be greatly missed. Survivors include his loving wife of 6 years, Traci Poling; son, Joshua Poling; sisters, Ramona Kitt of Martinsburg, WV, and Beulah Jeffries and husband Allen of Inwood, WV; brothers, Daniel Poling and wife Judy of Shenandoah, PA, Dennis Poling and wife Susan of Beaver Falls, PA, and Gary Poling and wife Donna of Bunker Hill, WV; 10 grandchildren; 18 nephews and nieces; several great nephews and nieces; step-sons, Johnathan Bradley and Trey Walker; and step-daughter, Megan Herron. Several aunts and uncles also survive, to include a very special aunt and “mom”, Betty Poling of Kingwood, WV.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 7, 2018, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Hope at the Gap. There will be a memorial service on Sunday, following the regular service, with Rev. Rip Noble officiating.
