Obituary for Patrisia Ann Mowell Ann Payne Mowell joined her parents and husband in Heaven on September 15, 2018. She was born July 8, 1940 to the late Lorretta Clark Payne and Rev. Joseph Payne.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Mowell in 2017. She is survived by two brothers, Frank Payne, Kingsport, TN and Larry Payne and Rose, Abingdon, VA; two nieces, Penny Payne of Harrisonburg, VA and Kelly Briggs and Rob of Weschester, OH. Three nephews, Barry Mowell of Pompano Beach, FL, Joseph Payne and NIna of Jefferson City, TN and Howard Payne and Karen, Holly Springs, NC.

Two great nieces and two great nephews. Ann graduated from Emory and Henry College and was employed by The Department of Social Services in Morristown, TN for 30 years. Visitation will be Saturday September 22 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home from 1:00-2:00, followed by the graveside service at 2:30 at Mowell Family Cemetery on Goshen Valley Road, Rogersville, TN with Rev.
