Obituary for Mary Jane Fields Mary Jane (Baker) Fields, age 42, of Rogersville, went to be at rest October 25, 2018, at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and dear friend to many people. She was a graduate of Volunteer High School, Walters State Community College, Tusculum College, and attended Lincoln Memorial University.

She received her master’s degree in teaching and taught adult education, but her real passion was in social work. She worked in Family First as an employee of ETSU. She loved arts and crafts.

She was a beautiful person in every way. She was preceded in death by her father, Kyle Ross Baker; grandparents, Rev. Elbert Henard and Hettie Marie (Allen) Henard, Mary Lena (Ross) Baker and Kyle Wesley Baker; and her little dog, Tinky.

She is survived by her husband, Billy R. Fields; daughter, McKayla Maire Fields; mother, Annita (Henard) Baker; special friends, David Alvis and Lauren Ramsey. Special thanks to all of the wonderful nurses in ICU for the loving care they provided. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday (10/28/18) at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville.

Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday (10/29/18) at Highland Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.
