Obituary for David “Scotty” Jones, Sr. David ” Scotty” Jones, Sr. age 62, passed away on Aug 30, 2018 after a lengthy illness. He loved drag racing and the Dallas Cowboys. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents Scott and Barbara Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Terry Jones; son, David Jones, Jr. and wife Rebecca; two grandchildren; which was the apple of his eye, Kaitlyn Jones and Cody Keen; sisters, Sharon Shenton and husband Calvin, Bonnie Jones; brother, Steven ” SW” Jones; Chris Lumpkins, who he loved as his own son; special nephew, Scott Flinchum; aunt, Loretta Wasson and husband John; best friend, Tony; and several nieces , nephews and friends. Memorial services will be Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 4:00 pm at the Church of Christ, Rogersville with Rev.

Steven Helton officiating. The family has ask that everyone come as you are no formal dressing. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall.
