Obituary for James Ralph Drinnon James R. (Abe) Drinnon, age 70, of Mooresburg, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 9, 2018, following a brief illness. He was a member of Grassy Springs Church. Abe loved to camp, hunt, fish and work on his lawnmowers.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his parents, John H. Drinnon and Ninish L. Drinnon; an infant son; brothers, Bennie, Don, L.B. and Garrett; sisters, Iva, Della and Maggie. James is survived by his loving wife, Debra S. Drinnon; daughter, Renee Johnson; son, Johnny Drinnon; grandchildren, Brittany, Jaedyn, Chance, Jamison and Julianna; sister, Johnnie Brewer; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. The funeral ceremony will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. James Helton officiating.

Music will be provided by the Lewis Family. The graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 pm at Drinnon Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Robinson, Jon Hermes, Rob Stringer, Chance Johnson, Jamison Johnson, Jerry Johnson and Eddie Drinnon.
