Obituary for Betty Jane Perry (Jean) Betty Jane Perry (Jean), 78, went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. She was born May 7, 1940. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and a friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Perry; great grandson, Dylan Cox; father and mother, Enoch and Lula Gibson; sister, Betsy Porter; brother, Edward Gibson. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Gilliam (Thomas); sons, J.E. Perry (Deb) of Surgoinsville, Darrell Perry of Church Hill; sisters, Margaret Begley (Cecil) of Rogersville, Rena Loy (LeRoy) Blaine; grandchildren, Joey Cheek, Jessica Cox (Eric), Stephanie Perry (John), Brittany, Sandra Lewis (Tim), Amanda Coup (Tim), Jacob Perry, Matthew Perry; ten great grandkids; sister-in-law, Annie Winegar; brother-in-law, Roy Perry. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions may be made to Christian-Sells Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

The family sends special thanks to Brookhaven Nursing Home staff for the wonderful care given to her over the years. Friends may call anytime at the home of Joyce Gilliam, 400 Richards Rd, Rogersville. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday (11/02/18) with Rev.
