Obituary for Hollis Wayne Mullins Hollis Wayne Mullins, age 76, of Rogersville, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at the Asbury Center in Kingsport. He faithfully attended First Methodist Church of Surgoinsville. He was a son of the late Dana and Irene Campbell Mullins.

Mr. Mullins worked for ATandT for 32 years and enjoyed home renovation, socializing with friends, and an avid reader. He was also a member of the Overton Masonic Lodge # 5 and the Jericho Temple in Kingsport. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He was known for his wit, loyalty, and generosity. Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Penny Mullins; daughters, Michele Jordan (Paul), and Cindy Mullins; son, H. Wayne Mullins,II; grandchildren, Hollis W. Mullins,III, Kaleigh Jordan, Sidney Mullins, Alexandra Jordan, Kenneth Mullins, and Conner Mullins; brother, Morris Mullins (Ann); and a niece, Melanie Mullins. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00pm on Thursday, November 1, 2018, Christian-Sells Funeral Home.

The graveside service will follow in HIghland Cemetery with Rev. Caleb Frazier officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations my be sent to the American Cancer Society.
