Obituary for James “Jim” W. Cook Jr. James “Jim” W. Cook, Jr., age 63, of Bulls Gap, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a son of Syble Cook and the late James W. Cook, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Cook; and sister, Elizabeth Gentry. Jim worked as a lineman for Holston Electric for 36 years.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a loving father, grandfather, and son. Survivors include his loving sons, Jason Cook and wife Sherri, and Jonas Cook; grandchildren, Klein Cook, Jacob Cook, and Lauren McLain; mother, Syble Cook; sister, Sue Manning; and brother, Ernest Cook.

Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 23, 2018, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. The memorial service will follow at 5:00 pm with Rev.
