Obituary for Eleanor “Sandy” (Phillips) Johnson Eleanor “Sandy” (Phillips) Johnson, 88, of Rogersville, TN, passed away Monday morning, September 10, 2018, at her home. Sandy was born August 26, 1930, in Brooklyn, NY. She was the daughter of John and Elva Phillips.

She grew up in Norwich, CT and retired from the Lebanon, CT town clerk’s office. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald C. Johnson Sr She is survived by two daughters, Donna Tucker and Doreen Rizer; two sons, Donald Johnson Jr. and wife Deborah, and David Johnson and wife Patricia; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren.

Sandy left behind many friends in Mt. Zion Church in Rogersville, who welcomed her into their congregation family with love. She was also involved with the Senior Center in Rogersville.

She will be greatly missed by her children and friends. Rest in peace mom. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Mt.
