Obituary for Rev. George W. Haun Rev. George W. Haun, 80, of Rogersville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 9, 2018, at his residence.

He retired from the Rogersville Senior Center as a van driver. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was ordained as the pastor at Fishers Creek Church in 1983, and served as pastor at several churches over the years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo Haun and Bonnie (Ramsey) Haun; six siblings, R.L., J.C., Ruby, Betty, Elmer, and Mary; and one great grandchild. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sarah (Minor) Haun; sons, Milton and wife Leslie, Paul and wife Mary, Riley and wife Missy, Roy, and Lonzo; twelve grandchildren, Darren, Jessica, Michael, Caleb, Alyssa, Stephanie, Leighanne, Lexia, Ethan, Landon, Tyler, and Matthew; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Virgie, Iva, and Kathleen. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Friday, July 13, 2018 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville.

Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm with Pastor Dan Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Gillenwater Cemetery with military funeral honors rendered by the Hawkins County Color Guard and the Tennessee Army National Guard. Christian-Sells Funeral Home of Rogersville is serving the family.
