Obituary for Lois Virginia Greene Mrs. Lois C. Greene, 88, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Holston Valley Hospital after a long illness. A lifelong resident of Hawkins County, she was the daughter of the late N.E. and Avie Kathryn (Kate) Collier of Surgoinsville. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Church Hill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Henry Greene, and six brothers and sisters: Gale Collier, Garnie Collier, Cecil Collier, Francis Collier, Dennie Carpenter, and Ruth Evans. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Sam Stevenson; her brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Betty Collier of Kingsport, and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to especially thank the staff of Fresenius Dialysis Center in Allandale and Dr. and Mrs. Steven Butler and the entire team at the Regional Kidney Center in Kingsport for their care over the past several years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Church Hill, P. O. Box 847, Church Hill, TN 37642. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, from 1:00 until 3:00 pm at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with Rev.

Gary Gerhardt and Rev. Mitch Russell officiating. Special music will be provided by Gary Stuart.

The graveside service will follow in Highland Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent at www. christiansells.com.
