Obituary for Elmo Wilson White Elmo White, age 83, of Rogersville, passed peacefully in his sleep on Friday, June 8, 2018. He was a member of McKinney’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Elmo loved to mow and work in his yard, he also liked to fool with old cars.

Elmo was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Hicks White, parents, Ernest and Martha Jane White, sister, Bonnie White Drinnon and brother, Earl White. Elmo is survived by his loving children, Sam White, Teresa Turner, Scott White and wife Tracy Lipe White, grandchildren, Justin Turner, Cody White, Haliee White and Scotti White, great grandchildren, Olivia White and Madelyn Turner, brother, Fred White and sister Johnnie Lamb, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday , June 11, 2018 , from 12 :00 Noon till 2:00 pm at McKinney’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Rogersville . The Funeral service will follow at 2 pm with Rev. Jerry Wayne Lawson and Rev George Winegar officiating.
