Obituary for Hattie Lou Johnson Hattie Lou Johnson, age 97, of Rogersville, was called to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. She was a Charter member of East Rogersville Baptist Church. Hattie Lou spent her entire life helping others, never met a stranger and had a kind and generous heart.

Hattie Lou loved all animals, and her simple nature and hospitality will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin H. Davis and Annie Forgety Davis; husband of 56 years, Zed G. Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Bill Clamon; and two infant brothers. Hattie is survived by her loving sons, Bob Johnson and T.H. Johnson and wife Fay; granddaughters, Katrina Caldwell and husband Dan, Kristie Toby and husband Ryan; great grandchildren, Grant Caldwell, Evan Toby, Katelyn Caldwell and Jaden Toby; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 2, 2018, from 2:00 pm till 3:00 pm at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. The funeral ceremony will follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. John Parrott officiating.

The graveside service will follow at Highland Cemetery. Christian-Sells Funeral Home of Rogersville is serving the family. Online condolences may be sent at www.
