Obituary for June F. Burton June F. Burton, age 97, of Rogersville, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018. She was a member of First Christian Church of Rogersville. June loved her cat, Callie.

She was a lover of birds, flowers, Paul Martin’s tomatoes and strawberry milkshakes from Pal’s. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Burton; parents, Benjamin F. Floyd and Tennie B. Floyd; sisters, Willie Mae (Bob) Welch, Cornie (Ralph) Gladson, Sarah Jo (Elmer) Winstead; infant sister; brothers, Tom (Cora) Floyd, Luther Floyd, Bennie (Ann) Floyd, Eldridge Floyd; an infant brother; nephews, Steve Gladson, Ed Floyd; and niece, Joanie Floyd. June is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; special great nephew, Brock Gladson; and special friend, Wilma McBride.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 16, 2018, from 12:00 pm till 2:00 pm at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. The funeral ceremony will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Steve Newhouse officiating.
