Obituary for David Chistian Fortman David Christian Fortman, age 75, of Mooresburg, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 10, 2018. He was born Feb 4, 1943, in Lansing, MI and moved to Mooresburg in 2005. David was a member of Morristown Moose Lodge 1486.

His humor, kindness and love of animals will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Fortman; parents, Charles Fortman, Sr. and Mary Winslow Fortman; brother, Charles Fortman, II; sister, Charlot Westphal; and special brother-in-law, John H. Lovell. David is survived by his loving wife, Jeanie Fortman; sons, Craig and Christopher (Keri) Fortman of Boynton Beach, FL; stepdaughters, Carrie Chavez of Lansing, MI and Terri Christian of Weaverville, NC; grandsons, Gabriel Gonzales and Josiah Chavez; granddaughter, Ana Chavez; sister, Carolyn Paine, Madison, WI; and loving nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to Etta, Tammy, and other loved ones. There will be a celebration of David’s life at his home on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 6:00 pm till 9:00 pm. Christian-Sells Funeral Home of Rogersville is serving the family.
