Rudolph’s Obituary Rudolph “Rudy” D. Roethlisberger, age 69, of Millsboro, DE passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, DE surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lansdale, PA on October 13, 1949, son of the late Herrald D. and Frances (High) Roethlisberger. Rudy had worked as a house painter before his disability.

Rudy loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was so happy that he was able to take some of his grandchildren to Disney World. Rudy was also a Steelers fan and enjoyed listening to his vinyl records.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Betty (Jopling) Roethlisberger; two children, Melissa Steele and her husband, Jerrad of Millsboro, DE and Eric Roethlisberger of Millsboro, DE and five grandchildren, R.J. Bailey, Autumn Bailey, Ava Roethlisberger, Sophia Roethlisberger and Brielle Steele. Services and burial will be private.
