Rudy K. Petersen, 56, of Augusta, IL died at 8:10 pm Monday February 25, 2019 at Unity Point Hospital in Carthage, IL. She was born on April 1, 1962 in Kirksville, Mo to Dale and Lorene Huling Forquer. She married Todd Peterson on March 31, 2000 in Carthage, IL.

He survives Rudy was a homemaker. She attended Carthage, IL schools. She was a member of the Carthage VFW Auxiliary, she enjoyed going to yard sales, collecting recipes and yard ornaments and spending time with her family.

She is also survived by a daughter, Monica (Jason) Maloney of Augusta, IL, a son, Andy Yenny of Macomb, MS, 2 grandsons, Michael Maloney of Macomb, IL and Brian Maloney of Augusta, IL, 3 sisters, Mary (Ron) Hackney and Elizabeth (Frank) Purtle both of Augusta, IL and Tressa Walker of Carthage, IL, a brother, Dwayne (Leanne) Forquer of Carmen, IL and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, Rita Forquer and 3 brothers, Russell, Roger and Dwight Forquer A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Friday March 1, 2019 at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL. Memorials may be made to her family.

Cremation will be accorded following the visitation.
