Ruth E. Killian, age 95, of Summitville, IN passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Community Hospital in Anderson, Indiana. Ruth was born on March 20, 1923, in Coal City, IN to the late Roscoe and Altha (Fiscus) Wells. On January 23, 1943 she married the love of her life Rev.

Robert L. Killian. They shared almost 58 years of marriage together. Robert went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2001.

Ruth was a Godly woman. She was a prayer warrior and lived her life for the Lord. She loved sharing her faith.

Ruth was a loving wife, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Ruth dearly loved her family and will be greatly missed. Ruth is survived by her two daughters, Deborah (Greg) Humphrey of Somerset, KY, and Mary (Jack) Alexander of Frankton, In.

,two sons, Stephen (Trish) Killian of Elwood, IN, and John (Lisa) Killian of Elwood, IN. , eight grandchildren; Jason(Jerree) Humphrey, Rachel Davis, Paul (Heather) Alexander, Philip (Jennifer) Alexander, Melissa Mapenzauswa, Jake (Allyson) Killian, Matthew Killian and Angela Killian, 9 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces & nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rev.

Robert L. Killian, three sons, Clyde Killian, Melvin Killian and Keith Killian, brother, Glen Wells, three sisters, Velda Shonk, Doris Treml and Edith Karns. Funeral service celebrating Ruth’s life will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana with Pastor Jason Lindahl officiating. Burial will follow in Fiscus Cemetery in Coal City, IN.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, December 28, 2018, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana. Online condolences can be given at www.
