Sandra Irene Mullinix 1942-2018 Sandra (Sandy) Mullinix 76, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018 in Frederick County, MD. Sandy was born on April 18, 1942 to the late Bernard Poole and Betty (Kline) Poole. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband L. Wayne Mullinix in 1997.

Sandy graduated from Damascus High School in 1960. She worked for Aspen Systems in Germantown, MD until Sandy and her husband Wayne retired to Florida. Sandy loved reading books, painting ceramics, taking family trips to Ocean City, and having her faithful companions (2 poodles), first Jacque and then Monique, always by her side.

Sandy is survived by two children, her daughter, Tammy Brown, with husband Jeff of Frederick, MD and son, Greg Day, with wife Debbie of Mt. Airy, MD as well as 4 grandchildren. Michael Skeeter of Columbia, MD; Randy Day of Arvada CO.

, Steven Day and wife Kayli of Walkersville, MD and Alexi Day of Mt. Airy, MD. The family wishes to thank all those who cared for her.

Per her wishes, interment will be held privately by immediate family only. Arrangements were handled by Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, Damascus, MD. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.
