Sandra Mae Hatcher, a resident of Cottonwood, Alabama, died Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Southeast Health surrounded by her loving family. She was 72. Funeral services will be held at 1PM, Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church in Cottonwood, Alabama with Reverend Richard Smith and Reverend John Smith officiating.

Interment will be immediately following the service in the Mount of Olives Cemetery with Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM Monday, January 14, 2019 at the funeral home. Mrs. Sandra was a devoted wife for 54 years to Billy Hatcher, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Cottonwood for twenty two years, were she served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a faithful member of the senior adult group. Mrs. Hatcher is preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer and Lettie Hinson McCord; one sister, Glenda Price.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Hatcher; a daughter Michele Alphord (Jimmy); a son, Shannon Hatcher (Krystal); a sister, Mary Miller (Charles); five grandchildren, Courtney Forehand (Jaalam Aiken), Blake Hatcher (Shannon), Chelsea Hatcher, Tanner Hatcher, and Jesse Hatcher; three great grandchildren, Justice and Jazlyn Coachman, Brayden Hatcher; as well as several nieces and nephews.
