Sandy Sanford October 09, 1943 – May 13, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Services for Casondra Jean “Sandy” Sanford, 75, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday at The River Church, Rev. Matt Brown will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home. Mrs. Sanford passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 at her home. She was born October 9, 1943 at St. Petersburg, FL to Charlie and Fay Gay Pratz.

She and her family moved to Oklahoma City when she was five. She graduated from Putnam City High School in 1961, where she was a member of the “12 year” club. She graduated from Draughons Business College in 1962.

She worked at Kerr McGee Oil for 15 years. She married the love of her life, Dean Sanford on March 8, 1975 and he preceded her in death January 9, 2002. Sandy worked as the Church Secretary for First Pentecostal Holiness Church and Evangelistic Temple.

She was a member of The River Church. Survivors include her three children, Dee Ann Schroyer and husband Richard, Shawnee, Larry Sanford and wife Jeannie, Edmond and Judy Bill Sanford of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Shannon Dies, Oklahoma City, Kelly and Brad Ashford, Edmond, Haley and Ben Gremilion, Oklahoma City, Sarah and Matt Brown, Edmond, Lacey and Zach Gilliam, Edmond, Lance Schroyer, Owasso, and Jill and Doug Zellmer, St. Charles, MO; her great-grandchildren, Ashton Schoonover, Collin Schoonover, Sloane Ashford, Hayes Ashford, Lydia Gremillion, Evie Gremillion, Cooper Brown, Brody Brown, Aubrey Schroyer, Cayden Schroyer, Xia Zellmer, Xaida Zellmer, Xander Zellmer; a great-great-grandchild, Jacobie Dean Schoonover; also a beloved best friend, Mille Grace. She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lawrence and Mildred Sanford; and brother-in-law, Lawrence Sanford, Jr. Bearers will be Sandy Schutte, Collin Schoonover, Donald Veal, Gene Garner,Hugh Bonner, and Lance Bonner.

Honorary bearers will be Ron Bates, Jack Rahm, Don Clark and Bob Jeter. In lieu of flowers, the family asked those who wish may make memorials to: The River Church, Children’s Ministry, 1930 Arlington St., Ada, OK 74820.
