Sara J. Cooper age 64 of Ashland passed away, Saturday October 13, 2018 at her residence. Born in Ashland on December 10, 1953 the daughter of Cecil B. and Bonnie (Tucker) Cooper she had been an Ashland resident most of her life. She had been an employee of Pentair and was also previously employed at National Latex as a supervisor.

She was a graduate of Ashland High School and was a member of the Ashland Eagles Aerie 2178 Auxiliary. Sara is survived by four nieces and two nephews, Brittany Cooper of Columbus, Amber Smith of Florida, Danielle Cooper-Fort of South Carolina, Donnie Cooper of Ashland and Mark Cooper of Ashland. She is also survived by two great nieces and one great nephew, Krystal Ann Alkire, Kazmyn Desiree Hall and Austin Cooper.

Her roommate, Pamela Akers of Ashland also survives. She is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Michael B. Cooper, David Cooper, Donald H. Cooper and Daniel “Fat Man” Cooper. Funeral services will be held on Friday October 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heyl Funeral Home.

Burial will follow the funeral service in the Ashland Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday October 18, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
