Sarah Kathleen Ford, 90, passed away on February 2, 2019 at Wesley Manor in Frankfort, Indiana. She was born in Clinton County, Indiana, April 7, 1928, a daughter of the late Grant and Launa Mae (Davis) Shelley. Sarah attended Frankfort High School.

On June 2, 1950 she was married to Hugo Morton “Merritt” Ford; he passed away on April 25, 1975. A longtime resident of Clinton County, Sarah was a homemaker and worked for Zachary’s in Frankfort for thirteen years. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Sarah loved traveling to the Smoky Mountains, singing in the church choir, working puzzles and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of Trinity Chapel in Thorntown. Survivors include: Sons: Roger Ford of Bringhurst, Indiana Robert Ford of Lafayette, Indiana Ronnie Ford of Frankfort, Indiana Richard Ford of Russiaville, Indiana Daughter: Treena Dumpert of Frankfort, Indiana Stepdaughter: Janie Lank of Frankfort, Indiana Half Sister: Judy Hare of Frankfort, Indiana Numerous Grandchildren and Several Great Grandchildren In addition to her parents and husband, Sarah was preceded in death by one son, Raymond E. Bartley; siblings, Robert Shelley, Annabelle Hensley, William Shelley, Phyllis Lovett; two stepdaughters, Charlene Howe and Judy Culley.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation is planned from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday, at the funeral home in Lebanon. Entombment will follow services at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown, Indiana.
