She was born on April 20, 1929 in Holualoa, Hawaii. She was a former certified nurse aide at Life Care Center of Hilo and a home health provider.

She was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday (Mar. 27, 2019) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo; Wake Service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9 to 9:30 a.m. on Thursday (Mar.

28, 2019) at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo; Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.; burial to follow at Alae Cemetery, Section K. Casual attire. Survived by, daughters, Priscilla Kaua of Lompoc, California and Kelly Pacheco of Honolulu, Oahu; brothers, George (Rose) Torres of Mt. View and Benjamin Torres of Hilo; sisters-in-law, Helen Pacheco of Hilo and Emily Pacheco of Hilo; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
