Born in Hilo, Hawaii on December 16, 1922, she was a clerk typist at Konawaena High School. She was a member of Honalo #1 Kumi, Daifukuji Fujinkai, Zazen Kai, Baikako, Hiroshima Kenjin Kai and Daifukuji Soto Mission Kyodan.

Private services were held. She is survived by her son, Earl (Michelle) Ikeda of Arizona, Warren Ikeda and Greg Ikeda of Honalo; daughter, Lorna (Gene) Takaki of Mililani, Oahu; brothers, George Kurozawa of Capt. Cook, Richard Kurozawa of Connecticut, and Larry (Eleanor) Kurozawa of Denver, Colorado; sister, Chieko Kitaoka of California; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
