Sean Joseph Horgan, 56 of Murrysville passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 15, 2018. He was born February 24, 1962 in Pittsburgh, son of the late James Francis and Evelyn Murray Horgan. He attended the University of Pittsburgh and worked as a project engineer at Enercon Services.

Sean loved to spend time with his family and had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. His sons were the pride of his life. The fulfillment of a father’s dream.

He was an avid musician and talented composer. Music was a joy that Sean shared with everyone he loved. His was a life well lived an example to those who seek the best in life.

He will be remembered with love and peace. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Horgan; three sons, Jason, Tyler (Alyssa), and Dan Horgan; three grandchildren, Cadence, Savannah and Destin Horgan; 10 brothers and sisters, Patricia (Paul) Wolkenberg, Maureen (Ron) Beverly, Michael (Maryann) Horgan, Joyce (Frank) Filipovitz, Kevin (Ann) Horgan, Roger (Maureen) Horgan, Timothy (Susan) Horgan, Maggie Horgan, Mark (Sylvie) Horgan and Daniel (Lisa) Horgan. Sean is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as the best friends a man could ever have.

Visitation Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 2-4p.m. and 6-8p.m. at the Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville. Additional visitation Monday from 9-9:45 a.m. at the Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville with a funeral mass to follow at 10 a.m. Everyone please meet at the church. Interment will be private.
