SFC John Stafford Weinrich (United States Army, Retired), a resident of Ozark, died Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at his home. He was sixty-nine years old. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 30, 2018, from Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Ozark with Reverend Scott Thompson officiating, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.

Full Military Honors will be rendered following the service. SFC Weinrich was born August 21, 1948 in Owensville, Missouri to the late August John Ernst Weinrich and Irma Beverly Siebel Weinrich. He was raised in Rosebud, Missouri.

SFC Weinrich served in the United States Army 23RD Infantry Division with two tours in Vietnam. His hobbies included woodworking and leather crafting. Survivors include one son, Christopher Weinrich (Teresa) and their children, Austin, Kristal, Brooke and Jacob; one daughter, Samantha Pickett (Clinton) and their children, Megan McConvery (Tanner), Bayleigh Pickett, and Kaylee Pickett; one great grandson, Hudson Culp; one great granddaughter, Natalie McConvery; his brothers and sisters, Beverly Gunn, Vivian Rogers (Keith), Marti Schach (Roland), George Weinrich, and Steve Weinrich (Charla); several nieces and nephews.
