Shandy Robinson, 39, of Canyon passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Living Water Christian Fellowship with Mike Kuhlman officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors. Shandy was born on May 28, 1979 in Canyon to Vance Robinson and Kathie Platt Robinson. She graduated from Canyon High School in 1998 and was a member of the first girl’s softball team at Canyon High.

She received her nursing degree from WTA&M University where she was a member of Chi Omega. Shandy’s boys were her life and she was lovingly known as the family event planner. She was a member of Living Water Christian Fellowship.

Shandy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Nettie Platt and Johnny Robinson, an uncle, Tommy Joe Platt, and two cousins, Daniel Platt and Monty Platt. She is survived by her sons, Kyler and Zaden Robinson; mother, Kathie Robinson; father, Vance Robinson and wife, Dawn; three brothers, Trent Robinson and wife, Ashleigh, Tully Robinson and wife, Katie, and Christopher Robinson; aunts and uncles, Shirley Clayton, Ewing “Brush” Clayton and Pat Platt; cousins, Melissa and Moe Mosley and their children, Max and Logan, Kip and Liz Clayton and their daughter, Olivia, and RoseAnne Platt and son, Thomas; and nieces and nephews, Preston Blackburn, Tryston Robinson, Jaxston Robinson, and Lettie Robinson. The family suggests memorials be to the Canyon Fire Department, PO Box 98, Canyon, Texas 79015.
