Shawn Allen Jarvis, age 39, husband of Cathy Burdette Jarvis of Berea, KY; passed away Saturday, May 12th, 2018. He was born on October 26th, 1978 in Bowling Green, KY to Victor Jarvis, Sr. and the late Ruth Odessa Sweatt. He attended the Life Church in Richmond, KY.

Shawn enjoyed Motorcycles, family time and attending church. Those left to celebrate his life are: His wife: Cathy Burdette Jarvis of Berea, KY; His father: Victor Jarvis, Sr.; His children: Cayleigh Jarvis, Jordan Jarvis, Akera Hampton; his step-children: Jordan Sizemore, Matthew Sizemore and Seth Sizemore. His sisters: Latorya Hordges, Shalana Beasley, Vickie Jarvis Gregory, Joyce Warren and Shane Witty Lunsford; his brothers: Victor Jarvis, Jr., Lorenzo Jarvis and Tim Jarvis; his grandmother: Alice Johnson Jarvis Parker; In-laws: Clyde and Betty Burdette; sister in-law: Tawnya Burdette Bullock and nephews, Ryan and Jacob Bullock.

As well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Shawn was preceded in death by his mother: Ruth Odessa Sweatt , his children: Javon Jarvis and Jaylin Jarvis. Visitation for Shawn Jarvis will be Tuesday, May 15th, 2018 from 6-9 P.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.

Funeral Services for Shawn Jarvis will be conducted at 1PM on Wednesday, May 16th, 2018 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals Chapel with Bro. Mark Sarver and Bro. Zach Hale officiating.

Burial will follow in Saylor Cemetery.
