Obituary for Shelby Jean Olmstead Shelby Jean McGee Olmstead Shelby Olmstead, age 75, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta surrounded by her family. She was born in Coweta County on November 9, 1943 to the late George Glen McGee and Loma Taylor McGee. The funeral service celebrating Shelby’s life is Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, in Newnan with Pastor Allan Mathura officiating.

Burial will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. She is survived by husband, Bobby E. Olmstead; children, Lorita Olmstead, Lita (Kevin) Dockery, Lanita (Barry) Baxter; brother, Glover Dan Boswell (Sarah) and Ann Boswell Teate (J.W.).
