Obituary for Mrs. Shelley McGowan Mrs. Shelley McGowan, age 50, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018, at her home under the care and comfort of her family. Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Reverend Randall Harmon will officiate, with burial to follow in Willow Mount Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors 12 noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home. She was born September 9, 1967, in Shelbyville, to the late Raymond McGowan, Sr. and Geraldine Clay Hillis-Long. She was a house painter before failing health forced her to retire.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Tony Rogers in 1998, a brother, Raymond “Boston” McGowan, II, and a sister, Darlene Key. Survivors include a brother, Frankie McGowan, and a sister, Theresa Allen. Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
