Sherman Moffet Moses, 79, of York, SC, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2018 at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Clover, SC with the Rev. Richard Russell officiating.

The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service. Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens. Mr. Moses was born May 16, 1938 in York County, SC to the late Moffat Aaron and Louise Teeter Moses.

He was a U. S. Navy Veteran and employed with Cannon Mills for many years. Mr. Moses was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Moses and brother, Gary Moses. Survivors are his daughters Kerry Russell (Rick) of Oak Island, NC, Karen Robinson of Clover, SC, Laurie McDonald (William) and Kristi Moses (Paul) both of York, SC; son Eddie Sherman Moses of York, SC; brothers Cleve Moses and Benny Moses both of York, SC, Larry Moses of Clover, SC, Wylie Moses of Philadelphia, PA; five grandchildren, Lindsay, Megan, Timothy Miles, Fallon, and Grace; two great grandchildren, Carrianne and Jolene.
