Obituary for Sherrie Elizabeth Hayes Sherrie Elizabeth Hayes, 66, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018. Born June 27, 1952 in Cowpens, SC, she was the daughter of Elizabeth Pack Hayes of Spartanburg, SC and the late Leon DeVoied Hayes. Her best friend, Betty Collins, was like a sister to her who has always been by her side.

A graduate of the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind, Sherrie was a member of Spartanburg First Baptist and attended North Spartanburg Church of God. Visitation will be 11:30 AM-12:45 PM Saturday, July 14, 2018 at North Spartanburg Church of God, 2069 Chesnee Hwy, Spartanburg, SC 29303, with services following at 1:00 PM conducted by the Rev. Larry D. Flippo.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd. , Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 119 Eastwood Circle, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
