Shirlee was born December 27, 1936 in Princeville, IL and died Friday December 28, 2018 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. Shirlee was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She enjoyed traveling and was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. She is survived by her husband of 61 years Jack, her children Stephen Hansen, Kim (John) Blevins, Lisa (John) Gola, Brian (Lisa) Hansen, 8 grand children and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Ely, mother Isla Ely, 3 sisters Wilma, Elenaor, and Mary.
