On May 4th, 2019, Shirley Anne Fitzgerald passed away. She was the devoted mother of Peggy Flowers-Combs and her husband Carson Combs, Jeannie Knellinger-O’Connor and her husband Ray O’Connor, and the Late Bobby Flowers and his wife Barbara Flowers; cherished grandmother of G.R., Linda, Jennifer, Brian, Amy, and the late Joey; loving great grandmother of Corey, Alex, Tyler, Jade, Danny, Amya, Devon, Lincoln, Jordan, Ryleigh, Chase, and the late Brian, Jr.; and dear sister of Randy Fitzgerald, Claude Fitzgerald, the late Grace Metz, the late James Fitzgerald, the late Beatty Shipley, and the late Shelby Fitzgerald. Shirley is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd. on Monday, May 13th and Tuesday, May 14th from 3 PM to 5 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 15th at 11 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
