Shirley (Morse) Ouimet, 93, died peacefully on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Life Care Center of Wilbraham. Born in West Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mildred (Derbyshire) Morse. Shirley lived most of her life in East Longmeadow before moving to Hampden in 1980.

She worked as an office manager for Tessier Associates in West Springfield for many years. She was active volunteer at the Hampden Senior Center, delivered Meals on Wheels and enjoyed painting and genealogy. Shirley was predeceased by her brother Leland “Bud” Morse and her sister Phyllis Morse and by her beloved husband Albert L. Ouimet last year.

She will be sadly missed by several caring nieces and nephews. Shirley’s Service will be held on Friday, January 11th at 3:00 PM at MA Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dakin Humane Society, PO Box 6307, Springfield, MA 01101.
