Obituary for Shirley Summers Barbin Shirley Summers Barbin Shirley Summers Barbin, 83, of Orange, Texas, passed away on December 21, 2018, at her home in Orange. Born in Beaumont, Texas, on June 10, 1935, she was the daughter of Charles W. M. Summers, Sr. and Alma Rosellen (Keys) Summers. Shirley was a member of the VFW and Central Baptist Church in Beaumont.

She enjoyed sewing, fishing, and shopping. Shirley loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Belton Rudy Barbin, Jr.; and her parents, Charles and Alma Summers. She is survived by her children, Gary Gautreaux and wife Becky of Orange, and Cheryl Farmer of Orange; her grandchildren, Maggie Gautreaux and Luke Gautreaux, both of Dayton, Ohio; her great-grandchild, Sylus Gautreaux; and her brother, David Summers and wife Sherry of Pasadena. Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
