Visitation Wednesday, May 23, 2018 6-8 PM at Hamp Funeral Home Prayer Service Wednesday, May 23, 2018 8 PM at Hamp Funeral Home Shirley (nee DiBello) Hopper, age 89, of Buffalo entered peacefully into rest at Humboldt Nursing Home on Sunday, May 20, 2018, after a long illness. Born June 2, 1928 in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Geraldine (nee Mabey) DiBello. Shirley had been employed in the office of Dr. Manzel in Buffalo before retiring.

She was the sister of the late Garry DiBello; sister-in-law of Patricia (Richard) DiBello-Finn of North Tonawanda; aunt of Michael (Kim) DiBello and Keith DiBello; and great-aunt of Sam, Nicole, Alissa, and Anna. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda, where a prayer service will be held at 8 PM Wednesday; the Rev. Michael Uebler officiating.

Friends invited. Inurnment will be cared for privately at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Buffalo. If desired, memorials to the S.P.C.A.

are preferred by the family.
