Holler, age 90, of Tonawanda, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Buffalo General Hospital. Born June 19, 1928 in Buffalo, he was the son of the late Leo and Mary (nee Loeschauer) Holler and had been a resident of Tonawanda since 1950. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Tonawanda.

Ray was a former member of the Kiwanis Club and the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid horseman, who rode as recently as this past Saturday, and was known as the “Barn Grandpa” at the stables. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Ray was an accomplished carpenter and woodworker who was involved in building many of the landmark buildings in Western New York. He was the husband of the late Margaret (nee Keleher) Holler, who died November 6, 1996; father of Thomas (Kathleen) Holler of Tonawanda, James (Sue-Anne) Holler of Jamestown, Mary Bronson of Grand Island, Kathleen (Steve) Zailac of Derby, and the late Joseph Paul Holler, who died September 30, 1952; grandfather of Michael, Kevin, Jennifer, Joseph, and Megan Holler, Lindsay, Timothy and Jacquelyn Bronson, Laura and Jesselyn Zailac; great-grandfather of Audrey and Aiden Holler, Luke and Maxwell Bronson; and brother of William (Katherine) Holler and the late Paul Holler, who died in 1998. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Friday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 150 Broad Street at Clinton Park, Tonawanda; the Rev. Michael Uebler officiating.

Friends invited. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
