Norman J. Scott, age 92, of Amherst, died Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Northgate Health Care Facility in Wheatfield. Born March 8, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Archibald and Ethyl (nee Russon) Scott and was a Navy Veteran of WWII. Norman had been employed at Hadley Exhibits in Buffalo before retiring.

He was the husband of Laura M. (nee Hartman) Scott and the late Gloria (nee Michalski) Scott; father of Paul (Judy) Scott, Mike (Maria) Scott, Peter (Lynn) Scott, Mark (Corinne) Scott, Jeannie (Jerry) Shelly, Cathy (Neil) Petersen, Debby (Jeff) Fritzke, Daniel (Denise) Perkovich, and Bob Perkovich; and brother-in-law of George Tookmanian. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. There is no visitation.

Services will be cared for privately. If desired, memorials to the Buffalo City Mission, 100 E. Tupper Street, Buffalo, NY 14203, are preferred by the family.
