Sidney’s Obituary Sidney Lee Vitosh, 45, of Beatrice, passed away unexpectedly Monday February 18, 2019. He was born August 15, 1973 in Beatrice to LeRoy & Carolyn Vitosh of Odell, NE. Sid grew up on the family dairy farm north of Odell.

He graduated from Odell High School in 1992. He then attended SCC Milford graduating with a degree in diesel mechanics. He was the owner of Vitosh Trucking.

Sid & Tracy Johnson were united in marriage on November 11, 2005 His pride and joy were his children Noah, Alaina, Elijah Vitosh, Kevin & Alex. Sid loved to attend all of their activities. He loved Nascar Racing and will now share a special day with his favorite driver Dale Earnhardt.

Sid also loved his Husker Football, Kansas City Royals & Kansas City Chiefs. He is survived by his wife Tracy of Beatrice, daughter Alaina Vitosh, sons Noah & Elijah Vitosh, step-sons Kevin Van Winkle of Minneapolis, MN, Alexandar Watts of Wymore, NE, mother Carolyn Vitosh, brother Stuart & Laurie Vitosh, sister Christie & Shawn Morgan all of Odell, NE Barbara & Brent Beekman of Beatrice, NE, father-in-law Robert Johnson of Odell, sisters-in-law Terri & Jeffrey Cochran of Lincoln, Tammy & Don Ross, Tricia Ramsey all of Wilber, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father LeRoy Vitosh & mother-in-law Vicki Dale, grandparents Joseph & Rose Vitosh, Edmund & Hilda Oldehoeft.

Services will be Friday, February 22, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Odell, NE with Pastor Greg Stuchwisch officiating. The family will greet friends Thursday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at the church. All viewing is at the church.

Memorials have been established to the Family’s Choice for his children. Burial will be in the Odell Czech Cemetery. Vance-Gerdes Funeral Home in Odell is in charge of arrangements.
