Stephanie Batiste 70, years of age passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at home. She was born September 1, 1948 to Walter Sr. and Georgia Rhodes. She was the third oldest of seven children.

Her parents and two brothers Marion T. and Don Rhodes preceded in death. Stephanie was educated in the Kansas City Missouri Private and Public-School system. She was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church and attended Many of her family’s churches.

She worked at IRS, Barney Allis Plaza Hotel and went to pursue her favorite career as a Travel Consultant for Maupintour Travel Agency for many years and took her son all over the world. Her last job was a school bus driver for Durham School Services. Stephanie was a loving and caring person.

If you were in need of anything she’d try and help you. She enjoyed life, if the family or anyone close to her was having an event you could count on her to show-up wearing a big smile. She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Dameion Clemons and his siblings; Lajuan, James, Cortez, Yolanda Clemons and grandson DaMarion Clemons; Three brothers, Walter Rhodes Jr. of Californian, Eldominick, Reginald Rhodes; One sister Peggy Nelson of Kansas City, Missouri; A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, great, and great-great’s nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, November 02, 2018 at Lawrence A. Jones Chapel 1800 East Linwood Blvd. Visitation Private. Interment Private Disposition.
