Obituary for Stephen Allen Guffey Mr. Stephen Allen “River Rat” Guffey, 60 of Seymour, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at home. Stephen was born in Big Springs, Texas on July 29, 1957, the son of the late Clifford M. Guffey and Clara Hampton Guffey Woods. Stephen was a member of the Christ Covenant Church here in Seymour.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family. He married Gloria Ocana Guffey on November 20, 2014. Stephen will be greatly missed by his wife Gloria, children Lisa England, Kim Long Huang and Vilma Huang, grandchildren Skyler and Kenzi, sisters Rose Marie Bowman, Kathy Satterly, Debbie Washam, brother Mike Reynolds and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Donna Guffey and Nancy Guffey. Family and friends may visit on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and on Friday after 9:00 A.M. until time of service all at Voss & Sons Funeral Service. Funeral service will be on Friday, June 22, 2018, 10:00 A.M. at Voss & Sons Funeral Service, with Rev.

Rick Prather, officiating. Entombment service will be conducted at Riverview Cemetery. Memorials may be designated to Christ Covenant Church 1005 S. Poplar Street, Seymour.
