Stephen (Stevie) Michael McMennamin, 54, of North Waterboro, ME passed away peacefully after a brief illness on May 31st, 2018 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice in Scarborough. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Anne McMennamin. He is survived by his sister Ellen Reece, her husband Steve, and his nephew Cameron of Westbrook.

He is also survived by his aunt Sue Pesce of Yarmouth, and his uncle Mike Pesce, and wife Donna of Saco. Stevie was a graduate of Portland High School and was employed for over 20 years at both the JJ Nissen Baking Company, and the Cumberland County Civic Center. Stevie had made many, many friends over the years, and was affectionally known by his nicknames of “House” and “Big Dog”.

Special thanks to his best friends Rob “Hammer” McLaughlin and his wife Lisa McLaughlin, and his great friend Dan Vela. Family and friends would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Southern Maine and the wonderful staff at Gosnell Memorial Hospice for their care and compassion. To honor Stevie’s request, there will be no services and burial will be private.
